MEET THE COACH

Naa-Shorme Aidoo

Naa-Shorme Aidoo is a nonprofit management consultant, a seasoned advocate and policy strategist with a decade of experience advancing equity-driven initiatives in education and youth development. Prior to her time coaching nonprofits at Resilia, she served as Policy and Government Affairs Director at ExpandED Schools, where she led advocacy efforts that secured $27 million in annual public funding and mobilized coalitions to expand access to high-quality and career-aligned learning across New York City.

Her policy influence extends to Capitol Hill, where she worked in the Office of Representative Hakeem Jeffries, and to city government as Policy Advisor to the Deputy Mayor for Education, where she crafted trauma-informed protocols and advised on restorative practices to reform school culture. As a Fulbright Scholar in South Africa, she brought a global lens to education reform, designing strategies driven by her policy research that improved academic outcomes and college readiness for underserved youth.

Naa-Shorme's work at the intersection of policy, advocacy, and systems-level change continues to drive lasting impact for mission-driven institutions.
